Welcome to Emmanuel! If you are learning about us for the first time, we pray you catch a glimpse of our warm community and our inclusion of all of God’s children.

Like you, each parishioner at Emmanuel is on a sacred journey of faith and life. We value the uniqueness of each journey, trusting that God actively pursues and meets us right where we are. And this is just the beginning!

Come and experience. We welcome you!

  • WHAT HAPPENS IN THE WORSHIP SERVICE?
The service lasts about an hour. All services include Scripture readings, a sermon (about 15 minutes), and Holy Communion (also known as Holy Eucharist). All services include music except our 8:00 AM service. Learn more about our Worship Services.
  • WHO CAN TAKE COMMUNION?
All who seek God and a deeper life in Christ are welcome to receive Holy Communion, or to come forward for a blessing from the clergy.
  • WHAT DO I WEAR?
Come As You Are! You may wear whatever you want. Some people wear dresses or suits and ties, but many more are business casual, and still others wear jeans and t-shirts.
  • HOW MANY PEOPLE ATTEND EMMANUEL?
On Sundays during the school year, about 120 people total attend our two worship services. Our largest services are our mid-morning services, and our smallest services are early Sunday morning. We always have plenty of room for you and your family!
  • WILL I BE ASKED TO GIVE MONEY?
We provide an offering plate during our services for our members and regular attendees to place their offerings. While Emmanuel appreciates all offerings that are given, visitors and guests should know that their presence with us is a gift in itself.
  • WHAT DO MY KIDS DO?
Children are welcomed and loved at Emmanuel, especially during our worship services. We offer Sunday School and nursery care during the Sundays 10:30 AM service during the school year (see Youth Ministries). Don’t be surprised if they have so much fun that they beg you to come back!
  • DO YOU HAVE COFFEE HOUR?
Once we are able to gather safely in groups, we will again have our popular coffee hours in the Parish Hall following the 10:30 AM service. Please join us then for fellowship, coffee, tea, and a wonderful spread of snacks.
  • ANYTHING ELSE?
Please contact us with any other questions you may have. We would love to hear from you.
